For Eternity

I love being in Young Womens!! I was in the presidency while I was pregnant and then released just before I had Hailee and just was recently put back in as an advisor. We combine all together since there is usually more leaders that show up than girls. Todays lesson was on Temple Marriage. What a great lesson.
We talked about how important it is to be sealed in the temple to your spouse and the important blessings you can have. We also talked about the differences that come when you are sealed in the temple and when you have a civil marriage. Being sealed to your family is one of the many great blessings that we recieve for all eternity. We talked about how "if you have the opportunity to be sealed and choose otherwise to marry for time till death and you still do what is right and follow the gospel, if you are not sealed you will have no rights to your family and will live alone." (Bruce R. McConkie) I can not imagine being without. I am so grateful to have the blessings of the gospel in my life and the blessings that it brings to my family.

Kangaroo Zoo

One of my friends took her daughter to Kangaroo Zoo for her birthday and this was the first time that I had heard of this place. I was with some other friends were talking about where to take their kids to get them out of the house. I told them about this place and said that it looked like it was fun, anyways, Angela called me yesterday to see if I wanted to take Hailee and go with them. It was so cool, they had so many things to do with different bounce houses and slides. Poor Hailee, she hasn't been feeling too well, cut another tooth and then some fevers and now a heat rash from the fevers. She seemed to be feeling better and she looked better too, so I took her to play. She really didn't want anything to do with much and just kinda looked around not wanting me to put her down. They had a big slide and so I climbed it with Hailee in tow and we slid down, usually she smiles or laughs, nothing from her. We just let Andrew play while we watched and then Hailee just waved bye, I think that she wanted to go, so we left and she took a nap. It was fun to go and play, they have a black light mini golf there too. So we will have to go back when she feels better!!!

9 month stats

Hailee had her 9 month check-up today, she is a growing girl!!! She weighs 17lbs 12oz and is 27 1/4 in length. 3 months ago she was 16lbs and 2oz and 251/4 inches long. She dropped from the 60% to 30% for her weight and went from 50% to 60% for her length. Looks like my baby is starting to loose her cute little rolls and is growing taller.

Happy Father's Day

Just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to my husband. He is such a great Daddy to Hailee. Hailee loves him to death. He has done such a great job with her while he had the opprotunity to stay home and take care of her while I was working. He is always so willing to help out in any way that he can and makes sure that she and I are taken care of and know that we are loved!! I am so blessed to have him in my life and to be able to share in the enjoyment of having and raising our daughter. The enjoyment that being a daddy can bring, he loves every moment.

Hailee's scary moment!!!

We haven't been to a movie in so long and Jimmy wanted to see the new Adam Sandler movie, he loves Sandler, Zohan. Not one that I would recommend, he has a few good movies and this isn't one. Our friends wanted to see it to and so we went with them and we all took our kids. Hailee did pretty well considering she took a late nap and woke up about an hour and a half before the movie at 7:30. Hailee was doing really well and towards the end she was getting ready to get out of there, so I took her out to walk around. The new Ice Age movie cardboard cutout was just outside the door of the theater we were in and I went to look at it. It was taller than me.
Hailee looked at it and went to touch it and then she stopped and looked at me. I told her it was ok and I touched it. She didn't want to touch it and would look at it and turn and put her head down on my shoulder. She kept looking at it and would start to reach for it and turn. Each time she would get a little whimper like she wanted to cry. I had her try and touch it and she jerked her hand away. I went down the hall to walk with her and as I walked she would turn around to see where the cutout was. I later went back down the hall to the theater and the closer I came the more she grabbed on me tighter and her little face had a terrified look on it. I told Jimmy and showed him how she gets scared getting close to it, we tried to get her to touch it and she just didn't want anything to do with it. It was kinda funny, but I felt bad at the same time that she was frightened by this. She did this with the Giant Kung Fu Panda cutout as we went outside too even though the other kids were touching it, she wouldn't.

Adventures of Hailee

I was getting ready to tie some bows and was trying new ideas that I have and went to get some things. This is what I found when I got back, Hailee strung with ribbon.
I haven't been to fond of flower clips and one day I saw some flowers at the store and decided to make a couple and see how they looked. I liked them in other girls hair and thought they were cute, and now I am loving them and want to get other colors to make more.

Hailee in the morning looking oh so cute!!! Then she decides to get her food and other things all over herself and have to change her for Andrew's birthday party. She will sometimes go through a couple outfits, depends on if I have to go anywhere.

Hailee and Joplin, one of Hailee's only girl friends, most are boys, and her second outfit for the day!! Plus I went shopping at Old Navy and of course I have to get Hailee something and have her wear it. So the whole food all over her clothes wasn't too bad of an idea for her today, I knew she wanted to wear her new outfit anyways!!!

Andrew's party was spectacular!!! They had so much going on, they had horse rides, popcorn, hotdogs, snowcones, pinatas, bounce house, and more. It was a great time and what a wonderful day to have a party!!!

Little Sleeper

Hailee woke up early this morning and woke me up cause she was laughing, I don't know at what though. She has been thinking that its funny lately to laugh at herself and will just ramdomly laugh. Anyhow, I gave her a bottle and turned on her music to let her fall back to sleep, cause I know she was still tired and so was I. I went in after a few minutes to check on her and this is how she fell asleep. She must have been practicing her crawling stance and gave out on her arms to sleep. Well at least she went back to sleep, I was pretty much awake after, so I blogged, even though I could be doing ten other things.

Finally.....

I FINALLY got the pictures of Hailee from the Baby Expo, it only took two months. It was a cute baby contest too. I still can't believe that Hailee wsn't even a runner up for anything. The babies that won weren't the cutest, I thought. Everywhere we go everyone is always telling us how cute she is and that she should be a baby model, a magazine cover and so on. Well what can I say, she is the cutest, I know I am bias.

Oregon Trip

We are back after spending a week in Oregon. It was so fun, we have been to Portland before a couple of times, Jimmy served his mission there so he likes to go back. This time we stayed on the coast, Seaside OR, in my parents condo. Much like the weather here today, raining and cold, was how most of our time there was, not too much rain but overcasted. It wasn't too bad if you had a jacket on and some days were nicer than others. The rain came the day we left. The first day there, we just walked around the coast and hung out. We made a lot of long car rides to see all the different sights. It was fun to explore the area and see everything. This place is so green. We hiked to a lighthouse called Cape of Disappointment. We drove into Astoria, OR, where the Goonies house is which you can't get to, and there was a bridge that we went across over a river, and we ended up in Washington, crazy the state line was in the middle of the river. We went to the Seaside Aquarium and to the Tillamook Cheese factory, holy cheese, huge blocks of cheese that they cut into smaller blocks of cheese and then package it. So we bought cheese and crackers and of cousre ice cream, and to Ecola State Park to see a lighthouse and they had a huge rock in the ocean that was a safe haven for sea lion seals. You could hear them and see them through a telescope. We drove to Seattle to watch the Mariners play, the highlight of the trip for my dad. We saw the Sapce Needle, didn't go up though, and walk around the park they had there. We drove the Columbia River Route, here they had a ton of water falls to look at, most you had to hike into. All in all the trip was a fun trip. We did some shopping and ate some good food. Hailee did really well with the trip and seemed to have fun.
