A little change

Ok, I want to change Hailee's room a little. I can't decide on which wall border. Her room is painted a light purple and has butterflies in it. I have pink as an accent color. I know that it has only been 6 months, but I just want to change a little bit of it. I think that I should of did it this way in the first place. Any thoughts would help. Her drapes are sheer with a couple of butterflies on it, they are purple gingham bodies and pink gingham wings. I want to either put a valence that matches the border over the drapes or drape a sheer color around the curtain rods. Hmmm!
The first kinda matches her bedding set as far as colors in it, so I am not to sure what it would look like with everything else.
I just liked this one, not that it really matches anything, but the colors match. I am not sure what the black would look like in her room either.
Hailee has a lamp that my family bought me for a shower that matches this border, so I thought that this would match the best, but I always find other cute things. See how much in a bind I am in trying to decide. The picture frames are white as well as her dresser that has pink knobs.

Rolling update

Ok so I posted her "Almost there" before we went to my brothers for dinner. Well my sister was playing or should I say changing Hailee and she was laying there after the fact and my mom said it looks like she was close to rolling. I told her that she had been rolling to her side like that for a little bit. Well, my sister put her on her tummy and she pushed up on her arms and the next thing she did was roll to her back. I was so excited. Wahoo!!!

Almost there

Hailee is just a content little girl. She is ok to just lay and play with her toys. She is getting better at sitting and will sit for a few minutes by herself. She had figured out how to move around though. She will be under her toys that hang and she will be postioned one direction and then when you check on her, she has moved so that she is facing another direction usually resulting with her getting mad cause now her toys aren't in reach. Another thing that she hasn't had any interest in is standing. She doesn't like to stand up or hold any of her weight on her legs, that is now changing too. She has just recently started to stand, not all the time, but it's a start. Well the whole point of this story is, she is almost rolling over. Wahoo!!! She has always hated to be on her tummy and will just put her face on the ground and scream, she just hates it. In a good mood she will tolerate it for a little bit now. The doctor said that if they aren't on their tummies, it takes a little longer for them to roll. I guess it is easier to roll tummy to back then back to tummy. Anyhow, my stink is almost there!!! She can roll up on to her sides but just isn't getting all the way, yet!!!
I thought that I would add the other video that I took on the same night. It is just her playing with her toys. Usually she is straight up and down under her toy, but she has moved herself like she usually does. Oh, my video manager is still not working, so you get to hear me talking to :)

When Hailee was younger I would put her in her swing and it would swing her really fast even on the lowest speed. We stopped putting her in it cause she really didn't like it, we now decided to try it again and she likes it now. It swings her better, probably cause she is more chubbier now. Jimmy took this of her after he had put her in there, if she is really tired, she will fall asleep in there. She looks so cute!!

Winter storm

Hailee wishing that we didn't put her into her snowsuit. She doesn't like to have it on, she just will get mad and start to fuss.

As most of you know we had a great winter storm that came through on Wednesday night. I could not believe how much we got. I have wanted to take Hailee in her snow suit and take pictures of her in it, and it started to get warm and melt and I thought that I had missed it, well I got a second chance. We had a lot.
This is my porch rail with my Christmas decor still up, but you can see how much piled up.

River Dance

This is a clip from Riverdance. It has Michael Flatley who was the main dancer at the time this video was taken. At the ones now, they have someone that has taken his place. I like Riverdance due to the fact it was live music on the stage the whole time. I am not sure if Lord of the dance was. I do like the music from Lord of the dance better, but both are just so amazing to watch.

Riverdance

So I have such a great mom. For my birthday she got me Riverdance tickets. I was so excited. I absolutly love Riverdance/Lord of the dance. We had been to see Lord of the dance twice. This was the first time to see Riverdance. We went to see them perform last Saturday. I am in awe with these dancers. I wish so much that I could do that. I have a little passion for these type of dances. I clogged for a long while, I think about 6 years?? I can't remember how long. I just remember that I loved it and had the time of my life. The competitions, parades, performing, and just being at practice, I remember it just like yesterday, even more so when I hear a song on the radio that I used to clog to, I remember some of the steps. I know that may seem really wierd, but what can I say. Just before I met Jimmy, I found a group that clogged and started back up and then a few months after we dated, I quit. I miss it, not the performing, just clogging. So this is kinda where I get the passion for the whole foot tapping thing. I hope that I can get Hailee into some kind of dancing or something that she can say that she absoultly loved to do.

5 months old

Time is flying. Hailee is 5 months old. It seems like she was just a little baby, now she is my chubby stink baby. I love all the things that she learning and every little thing about her. Her hair is growing really fast and I love it cause I can start to put cute little bows in her hair.
