Dance Recital

Hailee had her first dance recital. She did an awesome job!!
We were able to watch her in class a couple of weeks ago and she seemed really shy, so I wasn't sure what she would do at her recital. I didn't care either way, it is just a great experience for her to be in dance. When we got there she was a little nervous with me leaving her in the back with the other dancers while I went out to watch the others dance, but when it was her classes turn, she got out there and loved being on the stage.
They were going to put her in the back and then they needed one more up front and they grabbed her and was put in front. I was glad that they did!!
She was all excited to see everyone that came out to support her. She was so happy that her cousins were there.
After the recital was over, she took her cousins up on stage and was showing them how to do her dance so that they could dance with her on stage.

End part of October-lots of pics

I had a day off from work, so Hailee and I went with Andrew, Addy and Angela to Cornbellys. It was a lot of fun!!

Hailee loved being there and there was so much to do there. She loved to jump on the big pillows, go on the big slides,
get her face painted
and go on a hay ride.
They had a little place that was all about princesses.
Hailee loved it in there and loved sitting on the carriage and the big horse.
She loves the princesses. It was a great day to go as well, the weather was great and it wasn't too cold. While we were there we saw one of Hailee's friends, who is quite a bit older, she was there with Magna Elementry.
Hailee absolutley LOVES Caitlyn. All the kids needed naps by the time we were done and none of them fell asleep on the way home. I was even exhausted!!

Halloween was fun this year with Hailee being older, she knew what to do. She loved running from house to house to get her treats.
She was into screaming trick-or-treat. We made it around my parents whole ward boundries, just about. The kids kept wanting to keep going and going. By the end it was cold and wet.
When we first went out it had just stopped raining and we made it about half way and it started to sprinkle and stayed that was for the rest of the way. Of course the kids don't mind that. Hailee ended up getting 3 buckets full of candy!!

October... so far

My aunt and I did a little craft fair down in Ephraim. I have quite a few bows that I have tied and thought I would see how I did selling them. When we got there, there was a parade that Snow College was having on Main Street.
It was fun to take Hailee and let her get the candy. She also got a tie dyed beach ball and a Snow pom pom from the cheerleaders. And you can't go to Ephraim and eat at some of the local places like Fat Jacks!! It was good to get away for the day and hang out!!
We headed up to Park City for the day and had a BBQ at my SIL condo. We weren't too sure how Hailee would like the roller coaster track or the alpine slide.

*Riding up the coaster*
We decided togo on the coaster first. Hailee liked the ride up, but as we started to go down we were going really fast and she wasn't too sure, and then all of a sudden she yelled that it was so fun. She was screaming and laughing the rest of the way down. We then took her on the slide. She wanted to ride with my mom.
She really liked that as well. She wanted to keep going on them both. Jimmy also did the zip line.
He said it was really fun. While he was riding up to the top he saw a few moose. It was a fun weekend.
We went to the pumpkin patch to get pumpkins,
although we grew some in our garden, it was fun to take Hailee and let her see all the pumpkins and hang out with her cousins.

Chopsticks

We went to Tepanyaki for my brother in laws birthday. They brought out the "cheating" chopsticks.
Hailee loved them and had to eat everything with them.
She was so funny to watch her eat with them, although she got the hang of it pretty quick!!

Clowing Around

We went and watched "The Greatest Show on Earth" circus with Hailee's three cousins, my sister, brother and my sister in law.
We rode trax there so that we didn't have to fight parking. This was Hailee's first time on the train, she has been wanting to ride it and she loved being on the train.
We finally got inside, after the big mess with the new "Flash passes", and we walked past kids getting a clown makeover and Hailee was insistent that she be a clown. The line was long and so we told her that she needed to wait and I made a detour to get a snocone cup, I think that is my favorite part of going to the show,
and Hailee picked out an elephant cup. She was very interested in the elephants and loved to watch them at the preview show.
We got to our seats and the whole show Hailee kept asking when she would be able to be a clown with paint on her face. The snocone and white tiger stuffed animal wasn't enough. So as we left we went back to where the clown makeovers were at, there wasn't a line, which would of been great if there was a line, but after she was all clowned out, I am glad that we did it.
I think that turned out to be her favorite part of the whole circus experience. So presenting to you my little clown and her cousin......

Hailee's first day of dance

Hailee wants to go to school, but with her missing the deadline for the school year, she has to wait another year to technically go to school. So I compromised with her and told her she could go to dance school instead. I love that she is so ready and willing to learn more, so we do our own preschool at home, anyways, she was more than thrilled to be able to go to dance school, so we signed Hailee up for dance this year. I was so excited to get her into dance since she loves to sing and dance. I took her to get her tap and ballet shoes, she was so excited that she was full of so much energy she kept asking when we would get to the store. When we tried them on, she had to wear her tap shoes everywhere. On her first day of dance she was a little nervous, but when I picked her up she seemed to have opened up and had a blast. She continually talks about it and always shows me what she had learned on her first day. She now keeps asking if she can go to her dance school and can't wait till her next class.
Another one of Hailee's "cheese" pictures.

Hailee is three!

Blowing out her 3 candles.

My baby is now 3, it is kinda sad that she is all grown up. She decided that she wanted a princess party.

We had her party up in Midway at the condo since we were already there. She decided that she wanted pizza for her birthday dinner. We went to a pizza place in Midway, which I thought was good, and then went back to the condo to have cake. The girls all went swimming after. Hailee got some really nice gifts and loved every single on of them.

I guess I could just name three things about her since she is three, but there is no way that I could just choose three. Here is a few things about my girl.

1. She is VERY independant

2. Speaking of independant, she goes potty all by herself and doesn't ever want help from anyone.

3. She can count to 20 or higher and even count to ten in spanish.

4. She is starting to recognize her letters.

5. She knows what she wants and wants it now.

6. She loves to sing.

7. She also loves to dance.

8. She gives the best hugs around.

9. She is very caring.

10. She loves Ariel.

11. Her favorite movies are: Little Mermaid, Bolt, Ice Age.

12. Her favorite character is: Dora, Dora, Dora

13. She loves to paint and tie bows with me, she loves the crafty stuff.

14. She loves to walk Ruger and go to the park.

15. She loves her scooter and loves to ride it everywhere.

16. She loves icecream.

17. Her favorite food is: Chicken and french fries, broccoli, any kind of fruit, and of course, mac and cheese.

18. She loves her dance class.

19. She gets excited over just about anything.

20. She loves to laugh and say the funniest things to make everyone laugh.

I could go on and on about her, she is such a wonderful little girl and I am so proud of her and her accomplishments that she has made.

Cascade Springs

We took a trip to Midway to stay in my parents condo for Swiss days. One day we went to Cascade Springs, it was really neat to see.
*Grandpa and Hailee on the stairs in the springs*

I haven't ever been there before. It was a nice day and had some pretty waterfalls, which weren't real big, but were pretty.

Hailee is always wanting to be in the mountains.

Salt Lake County Fair

The fair was here again. It is always fun to spend time there and let Hailee see the animals and hang out. We usually go to the demolition derby, and we did go again this year. Since we had just gone to Lagoon,
Hailee was all about the rides and the games. We told her she could choose one ride and one game to play. Hailee loved to feed the animals in the petting zoo,
although she would just throw it so they wouldn't bite her.
We had tried to get her to ride the horses last year and she was terrified, this year she didn't want to get off.
Jimmy even tried his bull riding skills!!
The derby was a blast and we had a great day at the fair!!
