Counting/Eyes/Ears

I love that Hailee can show you where just about any body part is. When she was a little younger, she would point to my eyebrow and ask what it was, this was her favorite part to point out on people. Her new ones are cheek, chin, and teeth. One day I was we were walking and she was holding mine and Jimmy's hand, we started to count to three and then would swing her. I continued to help her count to 3. I would say one and she would say 2 and 3. The other day I she was going down the slide and I said one and she said 2, 3, 4 and 5. I was surprised. I didn't know that she knew that high!! I finally caught her on video, she usually runs when I get it out.

Our Weekend

We were going to go to Idaho over the long weekend. It was going to be extra long since I only worked a half day on Thurs and didn't work on Fri. I decided to cut out early, it was my last day at that job. I got a call from the VA hospital and they said that they didn't know for sure if I could start on Tues. So we didn't go to Idaho since I may not be working for 2 weeks. They only start new employees at the beginning of the pay periods. So, we worked outside in the yard and inside on the basement. and part of a planter we wanted in the backyard.

We cleared the weeds and made it look all nice. We planted in tomatoes, corn, beans, onions, potatoes, green peppers, and we are even trying our luck at watermelon. All I have to say is that I am sore and a little sunburned. Jimmy and his brother are just about done with a room in the basement.

We have to just sheetrock it, the bathroom we have to have some piping done, so we aren't able to finish with that quite yet. The laundry room and other bedroom will follow shortly. Our weekend wasn't complete till we had at least one BBQ, and the UFC fight!! Oh and I did start my new job at the VA hospital, I went back to my previous job, cardiac ultrasound.

Update!!

Not a whole lot to report, but Jimmy's brother came home from Iraq. We all went to the airport to welcome him home.

Jimmy was able to help with the security at the new temple, the Oquirrh Mountain Temple.

Our stake was given the opportunity to help with different jobs to help the open house run smoothly. I was suppose to go and be in the hospitality, but they didn't need us at this time, there are more days to help out though. I took Hailee to the Mayday Celebration at Wheeler Farm. Ang was so nice to come with me since Jimmy had other obligations. Hailee really liked the animals there.

Later I went shopping with my mom and then we went with some friends. It has been a while since we all got together to go out and for Hailee to see her friends.

She could see them in nursery but she does NOT like it. She freaks out if we even mention the word nursery, even if I stay with her. She cries hysterically and runs to the door. She liked it at one point, but that didn't last too long. So I continue to try to go to class, but usually end up walking the halls with Hailee.

Hailee had to take her baby to bed with her last night, so I went in to cover her up after she fallen asleep and moved her baby to the corner side. This morning when I went in her room she was sleeping by her baby. She must have grabbed it during the night and moved it by her.
