Oh how time flys

I was making a little photo book on Walmart.com that I put pictures of Hailee from when she was born till now and I was just thinking back how last year about this time I found out that I was pregnant with a baby. I was so excited that I was finally pregnant. We thought that it would be fun to have a little boy first, though we were blessed with a baby girl. We wouldn't trade her for anything.
The last 3 months flew by and my little baby is getting big. I can't believe that she is going to 4 months on the 6th of Jan. It seems like I just had her. She is always showing us that she is learning new things everyday. She has new noises, grab at her toys, and always likes to be sitting up so that she can see everything, even when you hold her. She is also starting to fit into some of her 3-6 month clothing, it makes me sad. I am so excited for the next year and to see her continue to progress and learn new things as she grows older.

Hailee's first hairdoo/bottle holding

After her bath the night before, I put her lotion on and I usually put it on her head so that it doesn't get too dry. AfterI did, I made a little mohawk on her head and just left it so that Jimmy could see it. I didn't think to brush it down, and the next day, her hair style was still in the "up-do". When her hair is wet, it has a little curl to it, so the ends of her mohawk was curled under. Isn't she soo cute!!! She also has been starting to grasp and hold on to things. For the past few weeks, when we feed her, she has been starting to hold the bottle for a few seconds and then she would drop it. When she holds her bottle, she usually holds it with the tips of her fingers, she does pretty well, and is getting better at holding it longer.. This time she decided to hold it one handed with it propped up.

Park City

Since we have the greatest friends in the world, they were so great to invite us to Park City and stay overnight. We just hung out at the house Friday night and had a great dinner, and on Sat., we went to the Olympic park and walked through the museum. They had these skeleton sleds and thought it would be fun to stick Hailee on them, of cousre you can see she wasn't to happy. We had her in her snow suit, it was way way cold, and she really didn't like it too much. She looked like she was the little boy from the Christmas story, she could hardly move. It was fun to look at the museum and see all the props and things used during the Olympics. They had this cut out and as you can see we put Hailee as the head, what a cute skier!!! Thanks so much to the DeMelo's for the great time that we had for a little get-a-way!!!

Christmas 2007

We had a good Christmas this year. Christmas Eve, although it was a complete blizzard, we braved the storm to my brothers home and had Taco soup and whoever wanted watched Christmas Vacation. On Christmas Day, we all meet at my parents home and have breakfast and then open presents that we give each other and what my parents give to the grandkids. This year, we ate breakfast first and of cousre Hailee fell asleep and when we opened presents, she was sleeping. We took her pics when we first got there so that she was still happy. All in all it was a great day!!!

Hailee giggles

Ok, so I wanted to try and catch Hailee's laugh and I never got my camera in time and by the time I did, she was done. Jimmy is usually the one that can really make her laugh, she loves her Dad!!! Finally I was able to catch her laughing. It is so cute when she does. I have to say, my baby is the cutest!!!

Babysitting days

Some of our friends went out to a party and we babysat thier daughter. She is a year old and was fun to watch. She loved to pull off the bells on our Christmas tree and shake them. I was giving Hailee a bath and she wanted to get in with her. I had Hailee in her crib and she had to be in there too!! She also loved to chase Ruger around. We had a great time with her, although I thought to myself a few times how it would be if I actually had a one year old and a three month old at the same time?? I don't think so!!!

New cousins

Hailee has two new cousins that were born in Nov. Luck for her she will have a cousin her age on both sides of the family. Her cousin Abbi was born Nov. 8th. She was 8lbs 7oz, at that time Hailee was just one pound more. Her other cousin, Bryson, was born on Nov 16th and he weighed 5lbs 13oz, he is so tiny. He lives in Idaho, so we were luck to see him yesterday.

Our family pictures

This little picture thing was suppose to be of Hailee and her 3 cousins. We had a photographer come to my brothers home and take the pictures. We used the guy that took our wedding pictures and also did my brother wedding, so you could say that we kinda know the guy. Anyways, after a few were taken, he told us to get in the pictures and have family ones done. They turned out pretty good considering I wasn't planning on being in them. I am glad we did though, now we have some cute pictures of Hailee and Our first real family photo.

Hailee's first giggle

It was so funny, Hailee was just talking away as I was getting ready for bed and getting her ready to go to sleep. We were sitting on our bed and she was just being her little self and smiling away. I started to talk to her and making cooing noises and then I growled at her. All of a sudden, she just started to giggle. So I did it again and she giggled again and again. It was so funny and exciting to hear her giggle.

Our first Christmas Tree

Although we have been married almost 7 years, this is the first year that we have had our own tree. Throughout the years I would get the clearance items and save them so that oneday I could decorate our own Christmas tree.

Hailee's first Christmas

It is so exciting to be able to share Christmas with my daugher, Hailee. I get so excited that I can do all the fun things with her and start new traditions for our little family. All of her firsts are going to be so fun. She has grown so much in the last 3 months that she has blessed my life as well as my husband, Jimmy. Everytime a holiday comes around, I am picture happy. I have so many pictures that I take and try to scrapbook, when I get a few minutes to do so.
