Gardner Village

I love walking around Gardner Village. Me and my mom go every year during the fall to walk through and see the witches and take pictures.
Hailee wasn't too happy while we were trying to take pictures. I will have to go back before they take it all down.
My niece flew in from Arizona yesterday to spend a couple of weeks. She loves to go with us to. They have pony rides, but we didn't have time today. Maybe I will get Hailee on a horse.

100th post!!

Jimmy was doing the laundry, like he always does and put Hailee in the basket. He is great to do the laundry.

She loves to help, I will put the clothes in the washer and she likes to help put the clothes in.
I opened the window to let some of the cool breeze in and this is what I found.

Fall in Utah - Midway

I love the fall time!! This is one of favorite seasons. Hailee and I went to Midway today and spent the day with my parents. They were staying in there condo this weekend and invited us to come up for the day. As I was driving there I notice how much the leaves had changed already.
Me and my mom love the leaves in the fall and had to drive higher in the canyon to see them. So we spent some time driving and looking at the leaves and taking pictures.
After that we went to lunch at Granny's in Heber. We then started back to the condo and stopped at the Homestead, it is another resort in Midway.

There was this huge crater. You can climb a million stairs up to the top of it and look down inside of it. We walked to the other side of it at the bottom and there was an entrance that lead inside of this crater. It was filled with water that was 80 something feet deep. People scuba dive in there and they teach people to dive there also.

It was really hot in there. The water was really warm, like a hot spring. The water is a deep blue. They have a few craters around there that aren't as big as the one at the Homestead. I guess they used it keep the smaller ones open and people would sit in the hot springs, they have them all covered now. We did go swimming, but at the swimming pool. It was a fun day!!

She's on the move

For Hailee's birthday, my sister gave her a toy that she can push and then it converts into a toy she can ride. The first time that she tried to push it, she would push it out and didn't know what to do with her feet and would end up laying on her tummy still holding on to the top. She now has the hang of it and is starting to really cruise. She thinks that she is so big and everytime she pushes it and then hit something she will laugh and smile. She is a funny girl.

Grass Girl

Hailee absoultly loves the grass!! She won't stay on a blanket when we are outside. She loves to sit on the grass and pull it out and she loves to just be on the grass. She has started to roll around on the grass. We have a little hill in our front yard and she will roll down. It is so funny to watch her. I think that she has watched our friends little kids roll down and that is where she picked it up from. It is crazy, most little kids don't like the grass. She get on the grass and goes crazy happy.

Fun filled day

Yesterday was day that was full of fun. I started out with getting more things ready for Hailee's first birthday party. Then I was able to attend my friends sealing in the Bountiful Temple.
What a great thing!! They were sealed to their little boy Andrew. I have been able to go to a few sealings of friends and I can never get over how special each one is. The blessings that come from being sealed to your family for eternity is an amazing blessing, one that I am most greatful for. We had to hurry and get home after that to get everything else ready for Hailee's birthday.
It turned out really great and fun!! We had a BBQ and the food turned out great and was really yummy, for what I heard anyways. I was running around and didn't get to eat too much.
The kids all loved the pinatas that we had for filled for them with um, I think 15 pounds of candy.
Hailee wasn't too happy towards the end, she missed her afternoon nap. She loved her cake and she turned out really messy.

All the prep time and it is over so fast!!

A few new things

Hailee will be one on Sat, I thought that I would post a little early as our upcoming weekend is going to be crazy. There is a lot to look forward to this weekend. One is our friends, they are being sealed on Sat. It is an exciting time for them. I am excited for them. The other is Hailee's birthday party. It will be fun!!! Today we had pictures taken. Yes, I talked Jimmy into getting a new family picture since our last one was when Hailee was 3 months old. They did us together, Hailee and Jimmy, Hailee and me, just Hailee and then Me and Jimmy. It worked out great, her one year old pics and a new family pic all in the same day. Hailee has learned some new words, grandma (a-ma), grandpa (papa), bye-bye, what's that, all done, book, hi-she has been saying hi for a while, but now she will put her hand on her ear and say "hi" like she is holding a phone, and of course she has learned no-no. She will even point her finger and say no-no. She has so much personality. I was at Carter's and was letting her play with the lego table they have there and she was telling the other kids "no-no" with the finger pointed. I couldn't help but laugh, it was funny. A one year old telling the older kids no.
She knows what she wants and has attitude if she can't have it. She knows where other peoples nose and eyes are. She is just getting the ear. She won't point to her own face, but she knows where they are. I also noticed that she has a new tooth coming in, it must have just broke through cause I just noticed it today waiting for our pictures to be done.
