Our Last Camp Trip

We went with my family to Payson Lake for the last camping trip of the year. I love it there. It is so peaceful and really beautiful!! The campground was completly full. We always seem to have a good time camping, even more so when there is a lake to play in.
Ruger and Meg playing in the lake. We noticed after the fact that dogs aren't allowed in the water, whoops!!
My mom helping my two nieces get in the lake. While there were in there, Alli found a fish. She grabbed it and told her dad that she caught a fish!! It was already dead and floating!! Good catch Alli. They also found another one that was alive that broke someones line so the fish had the hook in it still!!!
My dad seems to fall asleep anywhere. He will listen to his IPod and falls asleep. He was playing the nodding game. We all think its funny!!
"Sumo Hailee" like some liked to call her, I was so excited that her hair was long enough to pull back into a pony tail, she just had a short tail!!!
I tried to let her sit on a nice soft blanket and all she did was crawl off of it and play in the dirt and find all the rocks!!! I figured it was ok since we were camping and she was having fun!!!
Her poor little feet were getting all scraped up from crawling around. I tried to keep her where there wasn't any dirt, but she would always find herself back to the dirt!!!

We have grass!!

I know that this may not be too exciting for some, but I am way excited that we have grass!!! We put it in last weekend and I can't wait to get the rest done.
We will be getting the cement done in a couple of weeks. We will have a patio and a pad for a shed. The rest will have to wait till next spring since it will be flowers.
It will be so nice to have it done and be able to spend time in the backyard.

Camping trip #2

A few families in our ward got together to go camping on Friday and Saturday. We went to a new place that I have never been or heard of.

The Gordon's told us about this place by Grantsville. It was really pretty and wasn't too far for us to drive. There were trees everywhere and very peaceful. The drive through the canyon was cool to see.

The Gordon's made some yummy dutch oven chili and rolls with smores for dessert. It was a really fun time even though we had to put our tent right next to the DeMelo's, I mean right next to them it was a tight squeeze. Oh, we love the DeMelo's it was fun to camp by them especially after eating chili!!! We really had a great time!!!

Stairs Mastered

Hailee has mastered the stairs!!! Now I can't just leave her and do what I need cause she follows me up the stairs. A couple of days ago I ran upstairs to get something and I came back down and she was up on the stairs. After that she figured out how to go all the way up.

Helping with the laundry

County Fair

I love the fair!! When I was younger we would go to the fair partly cause I was in 4-H and would enter projects to be judged it was always fun to see.
Hailee and my sister Jana

We went on Friday afternoon and went to the petting zoo, looked at the animals, looked through the exhibits, and had a snocone.
It has now became a yearly thing to go to the Demolition Derby. We went on Sat. and when we got there it started to down pour with huge rain drops, so we waited it out in the car since it started as we were parking. It didn't last long.

It did rain one more time and had some intense lightening. Rain and all we still had a great time!! They ended it with a firework show. It was a good show!!
Hailee and Daddy
Some of my family, I know they all looked thrilled. We were waiting for the next round.

Part of the derby.

Our backyard

Our backyard has been weeds for the last 2 years, not anymore we are finishing it, Yea!!! I am so excited to get it done. My house probably wont be as dusty anymore. Yesterday Jimmy's old mission companion came up and helped us with the sprinklers. Today we were suppose to get top soil, but it didn't come?? Hopefully we can get it soon since we are getting our grass on Sat. In a few weeks we will pour our patio and the rest will probably be done next spring since it will just be flowers. Hailee was watching her Dad out the door and would pound on it and say "dada". She wanted to be outside with him. She would get excited when he would come up to the door and wave at her.

One more month

I can't believe it, Hailee is 11 months old. I am happy and sad about her turning one. I miss that she isn't a baby anymore, but I love all the new things that she is learning and her fun personality. She has done so much in the last little while.
She started to pull herself up to her knees and now to her feet and she tries to copy some of the words that we say. I am excited as I plan her 1st birthday party. We are having a "princess" theme of course and what a little princess I have!!!
