Bath Time

Oh wow, that child of mine!!!
So, I usually will let the water run for a little bit before I let the tub fill up so that it is warm. She likes to watch the water and stick her hands in it. Well, like every night I start the water and decide to get in my jammies. Hailee is usually talking away and wanting me to get her in and comes and finds me so I can put her in. Hailee has short little legs and has a hard time climbing up or into things for that matter. She has never gotten herself into the tub unless she falls into it. So, I was talking to her and calling her and she didn't respond. I think oh she can't get in there and I didn't hear her fall into the tub. I was gone for not even 5 minutes and I walk into the bathroom and she didn't want to wait for me and got herself inside and was just playing away with her tub toys.

Projects

I get these little ideas that pop into my head every now and again and find myself with a few projects. It depends though, I don't always have projects to do or do I want to have one. This time around I have thought of several and am trying to get them completed. First, I wanted to change Hailee's room a little. I have wanted to do this for some time and started to make the steps. I pulled her name off the wall and put paper on the letters with ribbon.
I completed this task, now to tackle the others for her room, I want to make or get a table with a couple of chairs. I want just the wood and I want to finish it with paint and decor. I also want to make a stool for her to stand on. She is all about standing on things to look outside or get something she can't quit reach. I want to make Hailee's room more of a big girl room. The next project that I have completed is my Valentine blocks.
These were easy, although I have learned not to use gorilla glue!!! I needed to glue the heart and Jimmy suggest gorilla glue, so I think ok no problem. I glue it on and put a heavy object on top, I come back to check it and it has foamed all out the sides onto the paper. I tried to wipe it off, all I have to say is it was not pretty. Jimmy says it looked fine no one could tell, but I can and if you know me I am just a little bit picky with the way things look and turn out!! Anywaya, that was fixable. I also found some way cute eyelet material, which brings me to my next project. I am so in love with the pillow case dresses, so I am attempting to make a cute spring dress for Hailee, and yes I said spring, I am done with winter now!! I haven't started this one quite yet, but will soon. So I have a little bit to keep me busy for a while and then maybe by then I will have thought of new ones!!

Diapers, Boots, Phones, and Computers

Hailee loves shoes!!
She always wants some kind of shoe on her feet, and if she doesn't and she sees shoes, boots, or slippers, she wants them on her feet. I think like most kids, Hailee loves to just run around in her diaper.
She likes clothes and will pick what she likes, but she likes to put it around her neck like a scarf. Everything from clothes to towels, it is around her neck. She is a funny girl. Also she loves phones.
She will walk around for hours and play with her phone or mine for that matter. She will say "Hi" and then jabber some words like she is talking to someone. She even holds the phone with her shoulder to her ear, where she learned that I don't know. I don't talk a lot on the phone. Hailee also loves to play on the computer.
She will type on the keyboard and then move the mouse and type again over and over. I think that we are in trouble she loves shoes, cell phones and clothes.

Discovery Gateway

We went with Hailee's friend Andrew to play at Discovery Gateway. Hailee had so much fun!! The water was the biggest hit. Hailee loved to play in the water. She seemed to find her way back to the water no matter where I would take her to show her everything else. It was fun for the kids to get out and play outside of the house. We had a great time!!
