Few New Pics

We have been staying busy this last month with just daily life. We planted our garden and we are going to try something new, artichoke, we will see how that works out. Hailee is loving the warmer weather so that she can play outside. She has a couple of new friends that live on our street, but they are all older, 1st grade"ish". She loves to talk to them and everytime we go outside to do anything she has to look for them and tells me "I have to say hi to my friends". She likes to ride scooters with them and follow them everywhere, which they don't mind and actually come over and ask if she can come outside to play. Hailee is in love with the park, I don't know any two year old that isn't.

Hailee has been asking for sunglasses since the sun is always in her eyes in the car. We found some with her favorite charaters on them, Dora, Kai-Lan, Princesses, and she choose Kai-Lan. She tells people Ni-Hoa, that is how Kai-Lan says hi in chinese. She likes to role play, she has lately been telling me that she is Kai-Lan and I am Rintoo, or she is Dora and I am Boots.

One Friday Night we went with my neice, Alyssa, to her school carnival. We put Hailee on the swings that go around in a circle, thinking that she would stay on them since she likes to swing. Nope, she got in the swing and was fine and all of a sudden she freaked out and HAD to get out of there quick, then tells me that it is scary. She didn't like the blow up slides either. She has been so afraid of everything lately. I am not sure why either, hopefully it is a stage that she is going through. So at the carnival she played games and more games. She said that she liked them better and it wasn't scary. She did really well at the games, she won lots of little toys, which she loved. The funny thing was on a hard game that I didn't think that she could do since it was for older kids, she won the highest prize, a radio with headphones. She loved it. She also loved that she got a HUGE cotton candy, I love this pic of her face after she had eaten her cotton candy.

So that is what has been going on lately, not a lot, but always fun to spend time together!!

Finished Projects

I love The Wood Connection!! I have had a few wood projects that I have completed. It has been so fun to paint with my mom and sister. We made the same St. Patricks decor, which was fun to see how different they turned out depending on our own touches. I had been working on some other wood projects that are also completed, guess I have to head back and get more!! I love doing all these projects in my spare time. Another spare time craft, that takes most of it, is my bows. I love making them and keep having the encouragement to start to sell them. I may just do that!! I have to get everything together before I attempt it though, I will post some that are finished when I get them done. I just made some for my friends softball team to match their jersey's.
Temple pics- we did this with the YW with "I'm going there someday". It was fun for them!!
Wreath that I made.
I love this one, it was really easy to make and fun to do!!
This is for Hailee's room, it was so simple and easy to do that will really look cute in her room.

Just Hailee

Hailee has quite the personality. She loves to help with the house chores, loves to play with her baby, sing, and use her imagination to make us laugh.
One of Hailee's nicknames is binker, since she has always loved her binkies. When asking her oneday what her name was she would say binker and if you asked her if her name was Hailee she would say no and mention a nickname. Funny girl!! She really loves Dora, Ariel, Diego, and most of the shows on Nick Jr. Her favorite is Ariel though. She loves to play with her dolls and LOVES barbies. Jimmy saw her up in her room oneday and she was in her babies cradle listening to the mobile, which plays music.
She didn't want to get out. She is always doing something silly. She loves to dance and loves to have her "dancing skirts"on. Oh how we love her!!

Easter Pics

A little late, but Hailee had a great time with Easter!! She really didn't know what to expect when we told her that the Easter bunny was coming to leave her a present.
When she woke up in the morning I told her that the bunny came and to go down stairs to see.
She was quite surprised to see her basket and that it was full on fun things.
We had a fun egg hunt at my parents, the girls always love being together.
Hailee had to wear the crown, don't know why, but she loved having it on her head.
These are the eggs that she dyed with her cousins. She wanted them in all the colors.
My sister got a caterpillar that you can climb through, the girls love to be in there and put their faces through the holes.

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt at This is the Place park. They had it separated into age groups which was a great idea. There were a ton of people, so I didn't know how Hailee would do or if she would just freeze since there were a bunch of kids. We got to the spot that was the 0-3 year old and she was so excited to see all the eggs that we on the ground and wanted to go get them all. They said go and I told her to go get the eggs and she took off and started to collect them. I don't think that the parents should have been able to go, a lot of parents were just grabbing eggs and carrying them to their kids. It was over just as fast as it began. With all the kids that were there, Hailee made it out with 6 or 7 eggs which was fine. They all had candy and toys in them. They then were giving out free popcorn, cotton candy, and ice cream. We were standing in line for the treats and there was a little boy behind us that was crying, the lady asked where they could go if their kids didn't get any eggs, so I explained to Hailee why he was crying and that he didn't get any eggs, so her and my nieces gave the little boy some of their eggs. Such a great teaching experience for Hailee, I had her give him an egg and she was so willing to give another egg to share. I was such a proud parent to see her willingness to share to make someone happy. The whole park was free, so we walked around and looked at the park. Hailee told me that she wanted to see the animals and " it would make me so happy" if she could see them. We had such a great time and even though it was really crowded, it was still fun!!
