8 Years

Today Jimmy and I have been married for eight years. If you really think about it, eight years seems like a long time, but it hasn't seemed like it has been 8 years. Life together is at times a challenge, but in the long run it always is fun.

We have done many great things together from vacations to just hanging out together. We like to do a lot of the same things and I think that is why we have so much fun together. I didn't think that I would ever fish, but one year I remember going fishing almost every weekend. Getting up early and heading to the lake to fish. There are some pretty funny stories about our fishing trips. Jimmy likes to stay active. In the summer, we like to go hiking and up to Silver Lake to walk around. There are some crazy things that Jimmy has done that I thought to myself "he is going to kill himself", but in the end he is alive and now it's funny. I think that is the best part, even though we don't think something is funny at first, we always end up laughing about it. We have gone on some road trips when it was just the two of us.

We have been to Portland, OR many times, I love it there. I have been able to see the great person that he is and the love of the gospel in his life. I have had the opprotunity while we were dating and when we were married to see him work as a missionary. He loves the work. I also was able to witness a couple that he taught on his mission go through the temple, what a great blessing to be able to share in the joy. Now as life continues on, I can only think of the new adventures we will have together.

We have been blessed with a great daughter and can't wait to take her in the great adventures we take. I have the greatest husband ever!!

I have a new kitty

My new little kitty-

When my neice was about the same age as Hailee, she was a kitty for Halloween. My mom was getting rid of the clothes that she hasn't worn for a long time. She is now 6, so I have really cute clothes that she use to wear. I have a habit of not checking all the clothes that have been handed down and then Hailee has grown too much and doesn't fit in them.

I was pulling out some of these clothes and Hailee loved the kitty on the front of it. She told me "on", so I put it on her. She wore this pretty much the whole day. including the hat up, cleaning and shopping. She was the highlight at the stores and everyone thought it was too cute!!

Valentines

We had a good Valentines. We went to lunch with the DeMelo's to Tucano's . It was very yummy. We ended up taking Hailee with us to keep Andrew company. At the end of our meal we got chocolate dipped strawberries and a long stem rose.
Hailee and Andrew exchanged valentines with each other. I got Jimmy some caramels and strawberries both dipped in chocolate from V's Chocolates, they have a little kiosk at Fashion Place Mall. They are the best place to get chocolates from. Jimmy gave me flowers, fruit flowers. It was a bouquet of different fruits made into flowers. It is really yummy too, and Hailee loves all of it.

What's been up

So I haven't posted in a long time, but here is the run down of what has been going on. Hailee had her 15 month doc appointment, all went well with the exception of her height and weight. The doctor isn't too sure about how tiny she is. I think that she is fine. I wasn't the tallest person growing up anyways. She is in the clothes size she is suppose to be in. We recently went to Kangaroo Zoo with Ang and Andrew, which was way fun.
Hailee didn't like to play until I took her on the side and then she was hooked. We have seen a couple of movies, Jimmy and I went with my family to dinner and then to see Mall Cop, without the kids. It was fun to be with my family. Hailee had her pics done.

I just thought one day I wanted to have them done. They turned out pretty good. I don't have a scanner, so I made them look as good as I could so everyone could see them. I was a little nervous about having them done. I wasn't sure what she would do, she did really well and then decided that she just didn't want to play anymore.

She loved the little stool they had and it was a must for her to sit on. She just wanted to stool to take with her. I went with Ang to see "He's just not into you" I think thats the title. I liked it, I would probably rent it and watch it again. Other than that, we have been staying busy with work, callings and just hanging out as a family. Life is good!!

Hailee just hanging out before bed. She like to cover herself with the blanket and lay down and pretend she is sleeping. I did it once and she copied me and now does it all the time. She is a silly girl.
